2024 EDF Ski Residency: Dolomites, IT

Dolomites Residency

EDF will take up a ski residency in the famed Italian Dolomites from 15 January - 24 February 2024. Basically, the residency will consist of skiing daily, drinking the local wines, eating the sublime local cuisine, and trying to document it all for you. I’m really looking forward to documenting the Alta Badia region - it has become one of my favorite places to ski and relax.

If you are pondering a ski holiday and you’ve never skied the Dolomites, please come join! This place should be on every skier’s and snowboarder’s bucket list. If you have family or friends who don’t ski, there are numerous things to entertain and interest them - from non-ski sports, to spas, to incredible eats and drinks while lounging in the Italian sun.

I will also offer personally guided ski sommelier experiences for either half or full days. Check out Custom Adventures.

In 2009, UNESCO awarded the Dolomite region in the Italian Alps official status as a World Heritage Site. It is one of the most stunningly beautiful places to ski.

Food, Wine, and Skiing

The Dolomites are also one of the best places to eat and drink in the world. The beautiful wines of Alto Adige and the delicious cuisine inspired by Ladin, Italian, and Austrian cultures are enough to motivate any foodie to make the journey. Combine oenologic and culinary excellence with the largest ski region in the world - the Dolomiti Super Ski with 12 resorts and over 1,200 km (745 miles) of expertly groomed terrain - and you’ve officially landed in ski nirvana.
